My priorities for HD 7
-
While the state legislature has responded to Utah’s housing crisis by invoking state-level mandates to build more homes, they have done so without ensuring adequate infrastructure is in place. As a result, our cities and towns are facing the burden of unplanned growth without the resources to support it. If elected, I will fight for collaborative housing policy solutions that respect local voices and prioritize building infrastructure first.

As an education professional, I see firsthand that investing in our schools and supporting our teachers is non-negotiable. Utah’s demographics are changing rapidly, and our school funding needs to change with them. I am committed to fighting for a responsive, fully funded public education system that protects our classrooms and gives every child the resources they need to succeed.

Access to affordable, reliable childcare powers our economy by allowing working families to enter and stay in the workforce. Unfortunately, skyrocketing childcare costs have pushed quality care out of reach for too many Utah families, forcing parents to choose between a paycheck and staying home. If elected, I will champion solutions that lower costs for parents, support our childcare providers, and ensure working families have the solid foundation they need to thrive.
