My priorities for HD 7

Our legislature needs to stop giving handouts to ultra-wealthy apartment developers and instead prioritize first-time homebuyers. If elected, I intend to expand statewide home-owner assistance programs so that families can afford to buy their first home.

Utah is one of only eleven states that collect sales tax on groceries. With the cost of groceries rising, Utah families need the state to do its part to lower costs. If elected, I will support abolishing the state sales tax on food so Utahns can afford to feed their families. 

As an education professional, I know how critical it is that we invest in our schools and teachers. It’s time we give our children the best possible chance of success by raising additional funds for public education programs.
